Attention Midwesterners! The P.I. Jane Team will be attending Detroit Fanfare this weekend! If you’re on the fence about going, just say yes– tickets are only $15 for the weekend AND there are a ton of awesome people in artist alley. If you are going to be there, please stop by table 202 and hang out!
Hello, fellow Jane-ians!
We apologize for the lateness on this week’s strip. We’re still recovering from this past weekend’s ENORMOUS Wizard World Chicago in Rosemont, IL where we met some really cool people– new fans and old. And some of us are in a different time zone at the moment, to boot. But rest assured, we’d like to thank any and everyone who came out to see us over the 4 day convention and we’ll have the new strip up very VERY shortly.
Thanks again! Maybe we’ll see you at Detroit Fanfare in September? Come say ‘hi’ if you’ll be there!

The P.I. Jane crew is busy getting ready for Wizard World Chicago. We’ve got more books, buttons, a limited edition Pie vs. Cake tote bag, hand sanitizer, bottled water, sonic screwdrivers, and cash, lots of cash…are we missing anything?
If you’re planning on attending, we’d love nothing more than for you to swing by our table (#4050) and entertain us! Show off your costume, talk Doctor Who, Womanthology, or even, P.I. Jane. And make sure to follow @PI_Jane on Twitter. Throughout the con, we’ll be tweeting updates, discounts, and maybe even giving away some free stuff!
Chicagoans! Next week, we’ll be attending the Heroes in Disguise – a Geek Girl on the Street and Challengers Comics and event to benefit the Heroes Initiative. We’ve even donated a couple of items to their silent auction, including a limited edition Pie vs. Cake tote bag. PvC tote bag!? Yep, we’ll be officially selling them at Wizard World Chicago next month. Want one?
It’s hidden in the strip today. Can you see it? In the Tardis?! Also, *squee, Matt Smith and the Tardis make a special guest appearance! Due to this shortened season business, I’m going through some serious Doctor Who withdrawl right now. I doubt this will be Eleven’s last appearance.
If you’re done reading Jane, head on over to Pop Candy and get your fill of pop culture news. We’ll be referencing it later!
